Athlete vs Average Joe/Jane

Athletes train, average Joes/Janes workout. You are an athlete. What's the difference?

1. For average Js, working out is just another thing on the to do list- if you don't get to it today- ahh well, just do it tomorrow. For athletes, training is the to do list. If you're not getting better, you're getting worse. Move forward, always.
2. Athletes fuel themselves with food, drink and sleep. Average Js grew up in New Jersey and have always had someone else pump their gas.
3. Average Js think/talk about getting better, athletes just shut the fuck up and get better.
4. Athletes know when to say no.
5. Average Js are afraid of failure, athletes realize they have so much to learn, and sometimes they are going to learn the hard way.
6. Athletes know what they want.
7. Athletes have fun in the gym, average Js work out so they can "have fun" later.
8. Athletes ask questions to learn, average Js ask questions to disagree.
9. Athletes always expect more from themselves, average Js settle.
10. An athlete can become an average J, an average J can become an athlete.
